Choices...

So with my graduation coming up and Natalee's graduation only a year away we've found ourselves confronted with a bunch of choices.  First and foremost...where to live come the end of our contract in June.  we are debating on whether we should stay where we are at, if we should find a new place to live and keep renting or if we should buy a place.  Granted we don't know how long we are going to stay in Logan so buying could be a risk.

Staying in Logan depends on whether or not I can get a good job with my slammin good Psychology degree, where I don't want to work in any type of psychology career.  There are two new hotels being built in Logan so I'm going to try for a manager position when they start hiring.

Natalee just made the decision to take a few classes this summer so that she can graduate next spring instead of Dec. '09.  This is probably best because then she doesn't have to go to "lame college" anymore.

There is also the choices of cell phones, which carrier we should go with.  Whether or not we should get a puppy, new "used" car, and so forth and what not.

Well that is what's going down with us.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Max's latest letter

My companion's brother just got his call to Sao Paulo Brazil. He leaves in July. Man, the mission rocks my face off! Yesterday was the best day of my mission. I family that we've been working with for 5 months was baptized. They are so awesome! I honestly have never felt so much peace and joy in my entire life. Seeing that family be baptized is something I'll never forget and it will drive me to find and baptize more families. This work is so indescribeable. I love it so much. At times you forget about everything else and its so incredible. Everything is focused on the mission and its awesome. That's sweet you heard from Rob. I haven't been in touch with him for awhile. He is the Man! What a coincidence that his new companion knows you and dad. Is he a cool kid, or a goof?Well my time has run out. I love ya bro. Keep me updated on the call.

So for one of Natalee's classes she put together this 3 on 3 tournament that me and Brock entered with a couple of my friend like Andy and Larry. anyways i'm just gonna say we did good even though we didnt do as well as we wanted to. we went 2-2 but we beat the best team there and than lost to the worst teams there pretty much so of course you know me after we lost i just wanted to fight every single person there. But it was alot of fun. thanks Natalee for hookin us up with the idea and brock your the man it was alot of fun thanks for putting up with me haha. so yeah we didnt win the grand prize of $500 but we got a T-shirt, heck yeah. Have a good day everybody.

Procrastination

Hey there, the post world has been kindof slow so I thought I would just throw up a random post since the idea is to just talk about normal stuff it doesn't always have to be something major.
Anyway around our house we are all tired and cranky from lack of sleep, Naomi is attention deprived, luckily she hasn't associated it with James yet so she still likes him. I have a rough draft, which my professor explicitly stated should be "at least a second or third draft", of a paper due on Tues. Don't worry it only has to be 30 pages plus endnotes and I just started writing it yesterday, don't worry again-we have had since january to work on it. Luckily the final draft isn't due until the end of April. Why am I in law school again?
Trisha's mom got here Wed and that has been helpful, particularly for selfish me, b/c her being here has mainly lightned my parental load. -
Oh yeah, Have a happy easter everyone

Induction prep.

Well, Tomorrow's the big day. Trisha and I will be dropping Naomi off at a ward member's house, the Vaughans (whose last name gives a whole new meaning to the term "ward family" doesn't it) at about 7:30am, then I will take Trisha to the hospital, drop her off, head to class, then at 12:35pm I'll be done with the two classes that I am going to attend tomorrow (I'm missing two in the afternoon, but have arranged for them to be recorded). Then I will bust it over to the hospital, hopefully getting there by 1:30 at the latest. We're hoping to have a son in arms sometime during the afternoon. Of course if things start hapening any earlier I'll just ditch the whole class thing and get to the hospital ASAP. The name of the hospital is Washington Adventist, its located in Takoma Park. Trisha's doctor's name is Kimberly Campbell.
Cassie Pierson (Naomi's best friend Abby's mom) is going to pick Naomi up about noon and take here for the afternoon. Hopefully Trisha will have had the baby and I will be able to get Naomi in the evening and take her to meet her new baby brother.

I'll be sure to keep you all posted, Wish us luck and keep us in your prayers.

Angels & Airwaves Concert

So tuesday night i went to the angels and airwaves concert and had the time of my life. So me and andy went down to salt late to a little club called in the venue. We got there at like five ten and got in line for the doors were going to open at six. we didnt wear coats because we didn't want to be way hot inside. we ended up standing in line waiting for them to let us in until seven forty five. i guess the were having "technical difficuties" but it was so worth it. it was andy's first concert so i had to show him the ropes. oh yea i forgot.. while we were standing in line we started a little fire out of news papers to keep us warm there is a picture of it on my myspace. so anyways back to the concert it was so awesome a st. george band called "Meg and Dia" opened for them i think they know wes. but yea i had the time of my life AVA rocked hard core. i worked my way up to the very front and took some wicked sweet pictures. you can check them out on my myspace.
love you all

Zach and Trisha latest

A couple of newsworthy items for the blog. Trisha's doctor made it official the other day. She is going to induce Trisha on Monday afternoon March 10th so that is when we are going to have the baby, hooray! Also, Trisha's sister Natalie is getting married on May 8th so we will be in Logan for a few days for that, we are thinking about blessing the baby then, and then we will be flying off to Charlotte (I have to be there for work on the 12th). We will then be back in Logan on June 30th or so for two months while I work at Olson & Hoggan. Trisha is supposedly going to have a surgery sometime during that runaround as well. Well, that's the latest.
